Chelsea’s Story

My husband and I had been trying for a sweet baby since we got married April 7, 2012. We ended up using fertility medications and were thrilled to find out we were pregnant in July of 2015.

Our joy quickly turned to sadness when my daddy unexpectedly passed away from a brain bleed he didn’t know he had and our world came crashing down October 24, 2015. All that kept us all going was knowing that in 2016 our sweet boy would be out beauty from ashes.

On January 19th I went into the hospital because of decreased movement but was sent home after he started doing flips and they determined he was just running out of space.

I woke up 3 months to the day after my daddy passed very ill and went in to hear the dreadful words “there is no heartbeat” our beautiful 7lb 7oz baby boy Hudson Troy was born sleeping January 25th, 2016.

Since then we have had a beautiful baby girl, Harley Ann(now 2 1/2)  and now we are due for another baby girl, Haisley Grace at the end of the month.

The name “rainbow baby” is a name coined for a healthy baby born after losing a baby to miscarriage, infant loss, stillbirth or neonatal death. It is the idea of a rainbow appearing in the sky after a storm or dark turbulent time.
