Viktorea’s Story

I first found out I was pregnant in November of 2019. I was so excited every week I had this app I would look to see how much my baby had gotten bigger. Thinking of names. Planning our future with our baby.

Then going onto 16 weeks I was doing something and was away from home visiting some family and my water broke. I was scared but I brushed it off not knowing that’s what it could have been. I went to the doctor and got that news that my baby might not survive and high risk bed rest. I could feel my baby kick and it was amazing. It made my heart whole.

Upcoming to 26 weeks it was early morning and I went to the bathroom and I felt her umbilical cord. April 8th 2020 I was rushed to the hospital to have a emergency c section. Mind you I have never gotten to find out then gender till the baby was born and it was a girl.

I named her Ravyn Aurora and it was the most beautiful and saddest day of my life. She lived for 8 hours and passed in my arms. I’ll forever cherish her and the time I had with my baby girl. I hope and pray everyday that I can have my rainbow baby with my current husband (not legally yet) but my current is definitely my soulmate and I thank god everyday for giving me him and his son. Which made me a step mom 🙂
