Lorrie’s Story

I tell people I have three children, though only two are here on Earth

I had my oldest when I was 19- I was in an abusive marriage, and literally this child saved my life

A second marriage and nearly a decade later… I was pregnant with my daughter Jyn. We lost her at 18 weeks and 3 days. 

My heart shattered… for a while, my only reason for living was my son.

Then… a year to the hour after delivering my sweet girl, Jack was born. A perfect 35 week baby, sent to bring us happiness on what was the hardest day of our lives.

No one could ever replace our sweet Jyn- I will always wonder who she would have been, and she will always be my greatest wish.

But I am so thankful for the sweet boy who came after.

Who reminded me how to live again.
