New Name, Same Mission

The blog is currently undergoing a name change and a new layout. To revisit old posts, please see the old page here at Life Is Stupidly Unfair. The old name was fitting for the time it was created and has served me well the past two and a half years.

I chose a name that would reflect the journey that my family and I have gone through after the loss of our daughter, Jasmine, in 2018. I also wanted something to reflect where we will go from here. To me, the journey represents how far we have come and how far we still have to go.

We have gone through a lot of grief and healing in the past two years. While this chapter of our lives will never be over, I want to be able to show and reflect on how the loss has molded us and how we will continue to move forward.

I want to continue to write about our daughter and how the loss has affected us, while also moving on to write about other things like travel, motherhood, and family. In all of these topics, I want to include Jasmine and show how much of an impact she had on our lives.

I hope that my posts will continue to be helpful for those who have experienced a loss. Project Finding Your Rainbow will still continue on and nothing will change in regards to talking about the loss. I will continue to advocate for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness.
